Waste biodegradation centres
DEKONTA operates an extensive network of waste biodegradation centres within the area of the Czech Republic. Their total capacity is above 300,000 tons. New centres are continuously added into the network with the aim to eliminate customer waste transport expenditure.
A major part of each biodegradation centre is a protected decontamination area (E) with non- discharged sump (C) for rainwater collection. Waste dedicated for biodegradation is loaded in a thickness that enables DEKONTA to carry out the described decontamination process (A) on the area. A distributive system connected with a bioreactor (D) is used for inoculation of biopreparate and nutrients into treated waste. Waste is also moistered and cultivated (aerated) after biopreparate application to the area.
Technological parameters of the biodegradation process are continuously optimised on the basis of the results of chemical and microbiological analyses of regularly taken samples and of laboratory tests, which are carried out simultaneously Decontaminated waste is usually used as reclamation and back filling materials
For DEKONTA to accept waste into individual biodegradation centres it is necessary to make arrangements in advance.
