Automated pelletizing line 

The pelletizing line was automated with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Program: The Country for the future ; Project No. FX03050072_7847.

An automated pelletizing line brings a number of operational advantages, the main advantage being the saving of up to one job position. Thanks to intuitive control via a touch screen and the possibility of using different language versions, it reduces the demands on the operator. By enabling continuous operation, automation  reduces other operating costs. This includes, in particular, fuel and electricity consumption, as well as the detection and elimination of rejects. 

This technology is suitable for a wide range of customers in the areas of metallurgy, waste management, fertilizer production, chemical and food industries, construction and other fields.

Device description 

The pelletizing line consists of: 

  • Material/waste hopper, ensuring a continuous supply of input material. 
  • Hopper with conveyor, which ensure accurate and constant dosing of additives into the mixture. 
  • Homogenizer and dispenser of mixing liquids, here the input ingredients are perfectly mixed and the liquid is dosed in a controlled manner. 
  • Pelletizer, in which the mechanical formation of pellets takes place. 
  • Conveyors that connect individual devices and ensure automatic transport of material within the line. 
  • Containers for temporary storage of output material or waste. 
  • Switchboard and control unit, including all elements of control, regulation and safety functions. 
  • Other additional equipment according to specific requirements of the operation or customer.

Line automation 

The heart of the line is a control system that enables highly efficient and safe operation. The automation includes: 

  • Sensors, traffic lights and warning sirens, ensuring the safety of operators and traffic. 
  • Environmental detection systems, monitoring possible leaks, dustiness or other operating parameters. 
  • Solenoid valves for control of media or material flows. 
  • Camera system enabling visual inspection of individual parts of the line. 
  • Remote communication system and Wi-Fi, ensuring connection with operators and the possibility of remote service intervention. 
  • Industrial computer as a central unit for controlling the technological process. 
  • Daily export of operating parameters, which provides an overview of the line's operation and enables long-term trend monitoring and optimization. 
  • Other optional technical elements according to specific customer requirements.
