As part of comprehensive waste disposal services, DEKONTA also provides waste transport from customers to the place of its final disposal or recovery.
Means of transport
For transport we use either our own machinery or, if needed, the means of our subcontractors. We own the following means of transport:
- Trucks
- Container trucks
- Container trucks for the transport of solid waste and sludge
- Tank wagons for the transport of liquid waste
- Front loaders and track excavators for waste loading
- Storage tanks and containers of 1 to 20 m3
All machinery meets technical and safety requirements of the applicable legislation, including the requirements of the ADR Agreement on the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods By Road.
International shipments
DEKONTA has experience with international shipments of hazardous waste and the so-called “notification” process (i.e. notification of hazardous waste transport in accordance with the International Basel Convention). We have experience with international shipment of hazardous waste, especially pesticides, from the following countries so far: Germany, Austria, Hungary, Moldova, Romania and the United Kingdom.
