As part of a regional project funded by the FAO, the primary objective was the disposal of approximately 360 tons of obsolete pesticides from a storage site in Pascani, Criuleni District, Moldova.
Our responsibilities
- Import of all necessary equipment and site preparation
- Sampling
- Development of an Environmental, Health, and Safety Protection Plan
- Training local specialists in area mapping, PPE usage, and hazardous waste handling
- Waste securing and transportation
- Solidification and stabilization of contaminated soil
- Organization of export documentation under the Basel Convention provisions
- Waste transportation under ADR rules to the incineration facility
- Final hazardous waste disposal at the incineration plant in Poland
- Public awareness campaign
