Recycling of photovoltaic panels for ČEZ, a.s.
We completed the largest project in the field of photovoltaic panel recycling for ČEZ Recyklace s.r.o.
We completed the largest project in the field of photovoltaic panel recycling for ČEZ Recyklace s.r.o.
Client: ČEZ Recyklace s.r.o.
Country: Czech Republic
Implementation period: 7/2024 - 31/2024
From October to December 2024, we processed 46 tons of waste photovoltaic panels from power plants operated by ČEZ across the Czech Republic.
We provided comprehensive recycling of waste photovoltaic panels for the ČEZ Recyklace s.r.o. collective system. Our services included the receipt, processing, and environmentally safe disposal of 46 tons of panels made from silicon-based materials (monocrystalline and polycrystalline panels). This project is a key contribution to the effective and sustainable management of photovoltaic waste in the Czech Republic.
The recycling was conducted at our facility, known as the “Photovoltaic Panel Recycling Line.” This line allows for the annual processing of up to 2,200 tons of waste photovoltaic panels and is specifically designed for panels made from silicon-based materials. We primarily receive panels from collective systems, with a smaller portion coming directly from photovoltaic plant operators. Our line plays an important role in supporting the circular economy and sustainability in the field of renewable energy.
