The INCEL Banja Luka Cellulose Factory is a former industrial complex abandoned in the 1990s, located in the city of Banja Luka.
In 2020, we completed a preliminary survey to assess the extent of PCB contamination at selected hotspots and the severity of its environmental and human health impacts.
The project included further detailed sampling at the seven most contaminated sites. Our goal was to develop a plan for the remediation and reclamation of the former industrial site.
