Kalynivka is home to one of Ukraine's most modern fuel storage and distribution facilities. In the first months of the war, this facility was bombed, causing storage tanks to rupture and thousands of liters of petroleum products to leak into the surrounding environment. Our primary objective was to assess the extent and degree of contamination, evaluate health and environmental risks, and propose a remediation strategy.
