This project is funded by the Czech Development Agency as part of the Official Development Assistance Program of the Czech Republic.
The specific goal of the project is to strengthen Georgia's legislative capacity in the field of proper chemical management. The project aims to establish the necessary conditions for a systematic future approach to chemical management at an internationally compliant level, in alignment with EU REACH and CLP regulations.
Project activities include supporting the development of legislation in accordance with European standards and providing expert advisory services to enhance the capacities of government bodies and other stakeholders. The focus is on establishing mechanisms and knowledge necessary for the long-term sustainable management of chemicals in compliance with European standards.
