More about the project
We took part in the reconstruction of the Cukrovarnický Palace, which was converted into a hotel named Andaz Prague, holding with 176 rooms. This neoclassical building, dating from 1912-1916, has been a cultural monument since 1993.
Demolition and dismantling work
We carried out the demolition of partitions, floors, ceilings, load-bearing walls, and the removal of vaults from the former bank. Additionally, we stripped plaster, dismantled utility installations, bricked up openings, installed lintels, and provided structural reinforcement for the demolished structures.
Construction and excavation work
We built foundations for an existing tower crane, deepened the current second floor, excavated the foundation for a construction crane, and installed shoring for the crane’s construction pit.
Remediation work
Since the original building contained asbestos materials, we handled their removal and safe disposal.
